Nova adopted by Kim on 03/18/2022

Nova is our third adoption from DFW Humane Society & we feel like she chose us when we visited after the unexpected loss of our boy Max to lymphoma. Sherbert (adopted 5/18/2021) was such a great addition to our home & he was really missing his buddy then along came Nova. Our home is once again filled with sounds of play, mischief & cute cuddly photo ops. They also love to help make the bed as is evidenced by the attached photo. Thank you DFW Humane Society for caring for so many animals until they find their forever homes.

We adopted Nova a couple weeks ago and immediately fell in love with her. She is the biggest sweetheart, so cuddly and playful, and already such a lovely part of our family! She’s so happy in our home and we are so lucky to have her!

Cameron adopted by Katelynn and Zachery on 08/03/2021

Hi! My name is Cameron, and I am a shepherd mix who is happy, healthy, and full of personality. At first, I wasn’t sure what to think of my new humans, but one thing I knew for sure was that they loved me very much from the start. I love love love going to the park with my momma and playing with my friends. I also love receiving turkey- and duck-flavored anything from my paw-pa. My talents involve singing and running SUPER fast! My latest new trick is “shake” but only if treats are involved. My owners love to boop my nose and give me lots of cuddles and pets. I wouldn’t trade them for anyone in the world, and I love them very much. I am so glad to be in my fur-ever home!

Mosley (Shelter Photo from PetPoint)

Mosley (Shelter Photo from PetPoint)Samson (formerly known as Mosley) adopted by Whitney on 12/12/2021

During Covid in March 2020, I lost my dog companion due to old age and I wanted to adopt a kitten. It was a difficult time to adopt from shelters so I ended up bringing home a kitten from a local breeder. When Banjo was a year old I decided to get another kitten from the same breeder so they could grow together. On December 10th, my 11-month-old kitten, Leroy, experienced sudden death, most likely due to a genetic heart condition that was undetectable. Not only was I traumatized, but Banjo was even more so. After a couple of sad nights, I decided to go out to see if there was a special kitten to make our little family whole again. I went all over DFW to all the Petsmarts and I found 3month old Samson(Mosley) at Petsmart in Irving. He is such a sweet, spunky, smart cat! I told him how special he is and why he came home with us and it’s like he understands! He gives me and Banjo sweet purrs and cuddles. Banjo is eating, sleeping, and playing again! I call Samson our Xmas Angel because he has brought so much joy and light to what has been the hardest time. Thank you DFW Humane Society and Petsmart for all you do❤️
