Sherbert adopted by Lesvia on 05/18/2021

We went in search of a playmate for our cat Max and the slow introduction has worked out really well! They now love wrestling in the mornings & evenings, with quiet naps during the day. Sherbert also loves to sleep close to our older cat Hera & he takes “no” for an answer when either cat is unwilling to play. It is so much fun having a kitten in the house to liven things up!

Frankie Sinatra (fka Van) adopted by Jesi Bennett on 04/10/2021

We’re so thankful to have the chance to adopt Van, now Frankie Sinatra. He’s such a sweet loving member of the family! He loves everyone including his new fur sister, Ava Gardner (also a rescue fur baby). He has perfect potty manners, enjoys long walks, playing with toys in the yard & has done great with basic dog training courses.
He’s enjoying his bed & rides in the Jeep. This week he goes to for his dental cleaning. The vet’s office calls him an absolute sweetheart & they love to get kisses from him during visits.

Thank you again for allowing us to adopt him & to Pat for pointing us in the right direction at the adoption event when we were looking for a smaller fur baby to rescue.

All the best- Jesi Bennett

Trixie (fka Six) adopted by Carol on 12/19/2020

Having a dog, cat and feral cat I seldom look at the adoptable pets. But I did on 12-19-20 and found SIX, a Maltese mix, 9 years old (at my age, I wanted a pet I would hopefully outlive). I thought she would be laid back, calm. NOT. She runs around the yard, looking for squirrels, chases the neighbors’ dogs up and down the fence line, and goes crazy when I get the leash out for a walk. She is the neighborhood exercise guru and a total clown. Charlie, my 6-year-old terrier mix is getting used to her but is still jealous. The cat tries to play and chase her. She doesn’t bother the feral cat at all. Doesn’t run out of the door or away. She has a forever home with me.

Neevee (formerly known as Casi) adopted by Megan O'Neal on 09/22/2020

There is no feeling like coming home and seeing a little furry tortie hop down from her favorite perch to run to the door and greet me. After recently gradating college I was having a hard time adjusting to being by myself at home while my boyfriend worked. It was his idea that we adopt a kitten to help with my anxiety and depression. When we went to the shelter Casi was the first of two kittens we wanted to see. She was the only one we saw that day. After looking up at my boyfriend and hearing her meow at him she melted our hearts. Ever since then I have able to cope better and Neevee has been a ball of energy and amusements (she buries her toys in her littler box sometimes!). We couldn’t be more grateful and happy to have her in our lives. She was the last push of encouragement I needed to get back up on my feet again emotionally. She even has a sister now named Onya who is also a tortie!
