Memphis: Foster Mom Notes

Memphis is a sweet young pup learning the world around her, which makes fostering her so much fun. She is a good mix of cautious and curious. She is a bit cautious when meeting new people but warms up quickly. She is good with friendly dogs her size and loves playing with her shelter buddies. She is also good with kids and cats.

She sits when rewarded with treats, is very smart and will easily learn commands with training. She seems to know the word “no” and feels sad when she disappoints her person. She is also a neat eater and water drinker. No clean up after this girl!

She enjoys car rides, walks (good on a leash), but loves playing in my backyard with her rope or tennis ball. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard since she likes to zoom around to release her pup energy.

She is fine during storms and doesn’t have separation anxiety.

She is crate trained and behaved when left out in my back rooms alone. I filled Kong toys with treats to keep her busy. She didn’t chew anything other than her toys and spent her time looking out the window. GOOD PUP!!

She startles at loud noises but recovers quickly. Memphis needs a human to help her explore and feel loved while she figures out her world. She is full of love, joy, and fun.
