Meet Prince – A Sweet Senior Gentleman with a Heart of Gold
Prince is a 7-year-old pup who has completely stolen the hearts of our staff and volunteers! This sweet senior is the total package: calm, loving, well-mannered, and eager to please.
His foster mom says he’s a dream houseguest – crate and potty trained, no storm or separation anxiety, and a perfect gentleman inside the home. He doesn’t jump or lick, and he’s not a big barker (though he may give a few protective woofs if someone’s near his property). Prince absolutely loves belly rubs and starts every day with a happy tail and a nice walk – he’s excellent on a leash and enjoys his morning strolls.
He knows and follows basic commands, is treat and praise motivated, and truly wants to make his person proud. He warms up quickly to new people and loves human company.
While Prince isn’t a fan of cats and hasn’t shown the best behavior when other dogs bark at him through a fence, we’re not yet sure how he’d do with a calm, friendly dog introduction. He may prefer to be the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the love.
