Trixie came to us under heartbreaking circumstances — a tiny kitten suffering from severe eye infections that had gone untreated for far too long. By the time she reached us, one of her eyes had tragically ruptured. But despite her pain and trauma, Trixie’s spirit never broke.

Thanks to quick and loving veterinary care, we were able to save her remaining eye, which still gives her limited vision. And while she may not see the world the way most do, she makes up for it in love, trust, and pure kitten joy.

Trixie is the definition of resilience. She’s playful, curious, and absolutely adores the company of both cats and dogs. Her favorite activities include gentle wrestling with her furry friends, chasing toys she can track, and curling up in the lap of anyone who offers her comfort.

Because of her partial vision loss, Trixie needs a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings and feel secure. But once she knows she’s safe, she blossoms — purring, snuggling, and bouncing her way right into your heart.

Trixie reminds us every day that animals with special needs aren’t broken — they’re simply looking for someone to see them for who they are: perfect in their own way. 💕
