We only went in for water filters
It was just a regular Sunday getting ready for the upcoming week. This particular Sunday consisted of us going to Petsmart to re up on our first cat Mochi's water fountain filters. We go into Petsmart with one thing on the mind, 'filters'. We stroll in going straight to the aisle we know we needed to go to. We pass the adoption area of course. The rest is history. Keep in mind, we have always wanted a tuxedo cat. We slowly walk by the adoption room, knowing that we would be sucked into that room once we lock eyes with even one cat. We see this lone kitten in this room, and to our surprise, it happens to be a tuxedo cat. A baby tuxedo at that. She was alone so we decided to go in and say hi. As soon as we go in she immediately greets us with her words. She is reaching out from her cage to play with us, and we instantly fell in love. It took us about 40 seconds to find an employee to learn more on how to adopt. The Petsmart employee comes in and unlocks the cage for us so we can meet this baby. The employee tells us how loving this kitten is and how she is vaccinated, microchipped, and spade for all of $25. SOLD! We may have forgotten to get the water fountain filters that day, but we left with such a loving baby that we ADORE SO SO MUCH! We have named her Sammi and we are so grateful that we passed by that adoption center that day. Thank you DFW Humane Society for bringing her into our lives!
